Afternoon tea at Merrill House has returned! Every Saturday and Sunday, enjoy a traditional selection of finger sandwiches, scones and pâtisseries with teas and infusions from the Rare Tea Company in London. Looking for more out of your experience? Let our English etiquette coach, Helen Field, guide you through a traditional afternoon tea, including fun quirks and customs about this prized Victorian ceremony.

PICNICS
Enjoy a gourmet picnic in an English hamper with a cozy blanket. Picnics include: Southern fried chicken, cold poached salmon in a green goddess sauce, bread and butter, beans almandine, potato salad, tabbouleh wine with quinoa, cheese and charcuterie, house-made chocolate chip cokes and fresh fruit skewers. Add sparkling wine or champagne to make your afternoon even more memorable. We are able to accommodate dietary restrictions. $60 per person. Please book 48 hours in advance.
KITCHEN GARDENS
We are proud to have our own kitchen gardens designed and maintained by our passionate team of chefs and gardeners. We grow fine, specialized ingredients in one of Prince Edward County's most prized terroirs: Ameliasburgh Clay Loam. Our gardens are located 20 minutes from Merrill House in Cressy.
OUR CHEF'S TASTING MENU
Merrill House proudly presents Prince Edward County’s greatest culinary experience: Sullivan’s Carte Blanche.
Executive Chef Michael Sullivan curates a marvellous six-course tasting menu that incorporates the freshest seasonal ingredients and duly exhibits his kitchen’s impressive range of skills. Wine Director Astrid Young consults with Executive Chef Sullivan to determine both Prince Edward County and fine Old World wine pairings that rival the splendidness of his dishes and guarantee a truly unforgettable evening. Advanced booking is required at least one week prior to dining. Please note that all diners at a table must participate. There is a $100 fee per person if this service is cancelled within 48 hours of the reservation.
